Posting this here less through self-promotion, but because I genuinely think a lot of you will like it. Who's up for a bit of lighthearted Lovecraftian cut-and-paste hip-hop / jazz / metal?

Harlequinade - Nihilymous Germscapes (Black Lantern Music)

    Free to download. Enjoy!

I was reading about fuzz pedals on wikipedia.
    Found this:

Later that that led to finding this:

Wow.... in-fucking-credible.I listened to it 10 times today already

The rest of the month the main stuff I've been coming back to is: DJ Yo-Yo Dieting I guess it's in the "chopped and screwed" genre, but far, far dirtier and spaced out than anything else I have heard.
I suppose I need to finally sign up to emusic.

Also, a ton Lawrence English. There is a really nice drain pipe just a few miles away. I want to play this track back with a portable amp inside it soon.

I find it interesting that this became the Monthly Listening Thread.
    Anyway...

I'm obsessed w/ Ohgr's new project: wdihtf.com and the first song to come from it, "Welcome to Collidoskope". I could blather on about it for a whole page, but it's best to just experience it yourself. It's got ARG elements, there's hand-crafted necklaces that are also part of the puzzle that are really neat, it's... argh. It's ingrossing.
