Just a heads up really for all Luke Cooper fans. He'll be launching and signing his new hardback graphic novel at the main gallery in Orbital Comics, London, on 27 March next year. I say new. It's a collection of all the stories that have appeared in Murky Depths from Issue #1 to Issue #11 and brings the whole story arc together for the first time, plus a short Halo Slipping spin-off that's not been published before.

But that's not all. Luke's signing falls on the last day of the week-long art exhibition that Nancy Farmer - one of Murky Depths' favoured illustrators - is holding in the gallery at Orbital. So 21 - 27 March is going to be a bit of a Murky Depths week at Orbital. Make a note in your diary.

Oh yes, and I'll probably be there on the first Sunday - but I'm at Hi-Ex during Luke's signing.

Oh, yes, oh yes, Nancy Farmer is illustrating the front cover for Murky Depths Issue #12 which will be featuring a Jon Courtenay Grimwood story.

A Glimpse of Hell - The Dark Gospel cover

Regular convention goers will no doubt recognise the cover from one of our banners which depicts Holly Demonica.

A Glimpse Of Hell sold well at the SFX Weekender (yes, we managed to publish the hardback graphic novel early) and those who bought it on Saturday had their's signed by Luke Cooper.

I just keep reading Luke's stuff over and over. There's always something new. And the collected works of The Dark Gospel is awesome.

I was very pleased with the quality of the printing and it's nice to see the story together in one volume. And what is A Glimpse of Hell all about? Well, it's a blend of crime and horror in which Detective Daniel Goulding, Holly Demonica, his demon snitch, and Halo Slipping, a foul-mouthed, chain-smoking angel, pool their efforts to take down the Devil for the crime of attempted apocalypse. I had a lot of fun writing and drawing this serial and have already begun work on the sequel. Hope you all like it too.
