    how i became a suicide bomber

    So here's the plan: I'm writing a novel called "How I Became a Suicide Bomber." And to keep myself interested in the writing process so that my tiny attention span doesn't hop off two pages in, I am uploading an audio version of each chapter as soon as it is written. No editing, no revisions. Just the first draft of what I write, narrated by me.

    It's about the comic (hopefully) adventures of a Suicide Bomber. You can listen to the first episode at http://hbsb.tumblr.com/

    Next episode in a few days.

    Would love feedback. Hopefully if I can keep this regular enough I will submit it to iTunes. For now though it's just available on the site. It's an experiment in writing as performance.

    This sounds like a great idea, and also something I would probably love to sample / remix. Are you releasing it under Creative Commons?

    That's a good point. I would like to but what do I have to do for that? Do I just stick a note on the website or what?

    See I checked that out but in the "jurisdiction" thing it doesn't have Pakistan (which is where I am). So not sure what to do. Either way, the basic idea is that I would prefer if no one stole it, but people can edit and remix as long as they don't profit from it.

    Right now though, I'd much rather prefer people at least listen to it!

    Sounds interesting, I'll be sure to look at it tonight. Are you also putting up the unedited text? Might be useful for feedback and those with slower connections. (They're still out there. I swear it.)

    Not so sure about the unedited text. I've had people steal my articles when I put up the text on my blog in the past and so hoping to avoid that. Might consider it if enough people ask for it.

    Sorry to be so blatantly self-promotional, but I know some people on here do subscribe to the podcast. Just wrapped up Episode 08, which marks the end of the first major segment of the novel.
