    Bloody hell!

Some of the dramatic edge is slightly lost in volume 4 (we know that they're going to end the world), but the art is getting ridiculously good. The sense of raw power spewed into the world, and the beatific expressions on the FreakFaces

The lilac colour palette is gorgeous too.

Not sure if it's valid to compare this to Transmet or Planetary, in terms of "which is the best", but this is extraordinarily good work.

Thanks to all involved - have a great weekend

    This makes me want MORE!

The last couple of weeks feel like they're moving in slow-motion...
  3.  (7416.25)
Warm, balmy weather here in Sydney. It's almost 7:30am and it's 20C already.

Mr Duffield's art gets better every week.

    Awesome. Just Awesome.

    Krakaboom.

I think I agree. This is Warren's best work yet. And Paul is knocking it out of the park, as they say.

Half of me is kicking myself for not waiting another two months to finally read all of Freakangels, and half of me is loving the antcipation. Watching those trees uproot and just imagining the force behind that and the crushing of those helicopters is nearly blowing my mind. And to think, they're just warming it up. I saw a comment about no new FA until the new year somewhere in this thread. Hoping that that's not true and I didn't miss it somewhere.

Colder than Christian charity out there today. Minus 15 C with the windchill. Remind me why I live in Canada again?

Next week : "Ooops, we overdid it." May we please return to the Present? I'm awful worried about KK hanging off that roof. Not to mention poor wee Kait, who is My Girlfriend.

Our school is next to chemical plants and this afternoon some students started feeling sick and nauseous and they were complaining about headaches and suddenly firemen appeared with their helmet on and they threw us out of the buildings in a minute. There was a wave of panic so I nicked a megaphone and told a few jokes performing some kind of awkward stand-up hoping people would behave less panicky. Strange experience.

And now, since the time page 6 was an advertisement page, I'm scared to stumble upon a similar page when I reach past page 5. Arg.

    GREAT EPISODE!

    Great epi!

Actually, this is an incredible illustration of a metaconcert, I really get a sense of the power(s) involved!

She's been holding on for like two months now; she'll be fine.

Cold and drizzly in supposed-sunny southern California. Brr. Folks who say we don't know from cold can shove it. Or better yet, take this shit away and give me my temperate, mild warmth back.

I feel bad for the trees. And try not to think about how it's going to get worse and worse for everyone.

    Ho lee ...

I accidently read the latest epi whilst listening to Dan Deacon 's "Wham City", from his darkly cheerful, unimpeachably lunatic epic Spiderman of the Rings.

I now adjure you to do it on purpose.

If you thought it was freaky already (and it is), wait till you try it with THIS soundtrack. Gnarf. GLA-A-ACCKKK!! (wobbitty wobbitty)

Warren, Paul... it jus' gets better and better, gennelmens. *tips hat*

    *hat falls over*

I love the episode and how the structure of your story is coming together. And as always the artwork and colors are terrific. Can't wait for more.

But I'm afraid as a military aviation expert I must take exception to your helicopters - those are AMERICAN Sikorsky UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters. Not anything like the type of aviation that would be operated in England by police or RAF. These should be Chinook, Griffin HAR2, Puma, Merlin, Sea King or most likely Apache AH-64 attack 'copters.

    Keep up the good work!

    @Gekko,
Fear not, that was actually the seventh page of the new update. Unkey Warren has been good and consistent with us.

@Zatoichi: thank you for pointing that out. That was my second thought on seeing page 6 (my first thought being "wow"), but I didn't want to appear geeky ;)

Haha, that shows how much I know about the military XD I did want to draw an Apache actually (because they look awesome), but when I saw all the rockets etc, I thought "why on earth would they not be using them instead of machine gun fire?" and decided to go with something more underpowered. Oops.
