Ummm, my fur-kids kicked me out of ed at 5:30am (and had woken me by 5am) and it's Sunday. Despite being irritable and head ache filled as a result of this I have managed to finish my essay and pin the darts in the dress I'm using as a base pattern for my new years dress. So not only does it fit but I'll have a pattern for new years black, probably see through, cotton dress of awesome...
Now I just need some bright coloured velvet.
Ah yeah, costume party with a "magic and magical artifacts" theme.
This was such an awesome relief from the mind atrophy of boredom I've been experiencing as of late.
And it's been insanely cold the last few days here in Colorado. And I have to go outside to smoke. Below zero weather makes me consider quitting until I start twitching. Then I end up bundling up in eight coats and deal with it anyway.
Paul - The answer to "why not use the rocket munitions" is the authorities are working to minimize collateral damage. Changing from a police activity to military is a big challenge. Your artwork so far shows a mix -- the story line has a police officer using the loud hailer in episode 76 to address the freakangels.
@zatoichi That makes sense :) Unfortunately it's just too large an edit to make for a small detail that the majority of readers won't notice. Feedback and suggestions for edits are always welcome though. If you spot anything else in the future, please post it on the Freakangels Continuity and Editing thread.
Warren--read your detective novel. Damn. Good work. Really fun to read. How many cents do you get from me buying a copy? (vs how much everyone else gets. If you want to get rich go into business not art or writing.) We've had a couple of gory pages lately. Quite well done too, but it bothers me that none of the kids is grossed out. (Or at least we aren't hearing about it.) I just had an incredible geek thought. Warren is the Linus Torvalds of graphic novels. Or maybe Linus is the Warren Ellis--you know just forget the whole thing. So--someone talked about seeing the big punch, but I don't think we have yet. We saw the float around and throw trees at copters. We only heard, in the remote viewing scene, the plan for the big punch. I think the big punch is in the next episode.
This is getting exciting!! Is Mark altruistic in this episode or just really fixated on death & destruction & revenge? You decide! Or perhaps time will tell. I am fearing the latter.
Oh, and 2 things made me laugh; "Missed his balls by an inch" and "This is better than drugs". These are great catchphrases for t-shirts along with "Chikkenz" (or however it was misspelt!).
