I wanted to make sure that I wasn't making Lani seem "Anti-Male", just "Anti-Dick Head". In my mind, I imagine the last line of dialogue right before my panel was "Hey toots, you got pretty nice cans for a superhero!"
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD I am sitting here in an airport terminal trying to keep from squealing and laughing my ass off. Sizer, that is BRILLIANT. With a kickass suit, too! And yes, thank you for making it anti-dickhead, because that's definitely my position!! Yay yay yay yay yay!!!
Edit: Normally I'd ask if I could share it (i.e. to facebook), but considering my entire freakin' family, including little cousins, as well as several former professors, are all my friends there, it would probably best not to.
@hunglikejesus - Love the name. Couldn't resist the clown/mime combo.
@thewaltonsare - I'm not great at superhero costumes, but I gave it a shot. I believe the scribbly tiny text says something along the lines of "Able to heft large monoliths in a single lift. Not that she would because that would be both unethical and irresponsible". And the monolith turned out not nearly as large as I had planned, because I ran out paper. Whoops!
Cool. I figured that the "Lani Lass" name sounded like something from the Legion of Super Heroes, along with the same kind of tights/costume. This image is an example of your "kinetic energy kick" or some crap like that. And you're MY hero also. : )
Fucking hell, I could page through these draw threads all day. It's so much fun to see how every artist kicks in their own interpretation.
I got a sweet, sweet night vision goggle picture last time I threw my hat into the draw thread ring. Maybe my swankiest, best, plaid, most lounger-singer-ist outfit I own is enough material?
