Before I get to the fifth page of DORK AND HAT, let me give you a glimpse of what it's like to work with William Ellwood (emphasis mine):

    Panel 1.

We are on the deck of the doom Zeppelin, which is more like a sailing ship suspended below a giant bag of gas, as DOCTOR CROMARTY [2] zaps a giant ray gun bolt towards DORKMUFFIN and OLDHAT who are diving out of the way.

DOCTOR CROMARTY I don't know how to design his appearance. I want him to have a big bushy science beard and be wearing a kilt. A mad scientist with a giant ray gun and a doom Zeppelin that controls the weather.

    *headdesk headdesk headdesk headdesk headdesk*

Anyway. The fifth page, out of (AAAAAAAAAAAAH!) seven. Once they're all done I'll compile them into a single post on my website and link to it. Razor by desk. It is calling me.

William Ellwood writes, I draw, Oldhat and Dorkmuffin star:

    Samurai Zombie Redux

I initially did only the torso, but got carried away and expanded from there. I might do another one. I love all the different takes on this project.

    UPdate!

Went back and added colors and got some other things more to my liking. This has taken a life of its own. Now I have another character for this
project I've been working on. Thanks, guys and gals.

Wow @sainrival, Awesome detailed work. Had to think for a minute who it was, because that pic is so far back in the thread.

@Andre, OUCH. Though I guess that's directed more at Ginja.

That looks even more awesome than the first few pages. You rock pretty hard.

@Andre - The Doctor looks like Santa Claus on science crack, which is what I've always wanted Santa to look like.

@Ginja - Well played with that description, haha. Now just yell, 'MORE SCIENCY!' at Andre over and over as he tries to cry himself to sleep.

That caterpillar version of the picture tripped me out for a second. AWESOME.

    @ St Sparky -

You captured my nose excellently, which tends to be difficult. Yay!

I think it's time Draw Each Other attempts to do a comic :)

Lani: Man, even up to no good, you are still a stunning girl! The world will fall under your rule in no time flat! BTW, are you plotting evil in a library in that picture? Are libraries a good place to plot world domination? : )

Heresybob: Aw man, that would entail effort and work... : )

I stopped myself from getting to involved. Sorry Lani. :)

@Heresybob - we could make a comic, but it'd have to be off-site.

@sainrival - OMG that's AWESOME!!!! Awesome enough to deserve all four exclamation points. Seriously. FANTASTIC. LOVE it!! With your permission, I'd like to save a copy, and share with others...is that ok?

@sizer - don't think your flattery will spare you from my iron fist when I rule the world! ...Although the generous number of times you've reinterpreted my pictures in kickass ways (Gerry Carlyle) may influence me. Chocolate does too, by the way. (And yes, no one ever suspects you of evil when you're in a library. Mwa ha ha ha.)

@Lani: Empirical data, dear; you are good to draw. And I would expect nothing less than your unrelenting crushing fist of total doom under your rule. You do good work. I'm imagining mandatory swing dance sessions for all your subjects, yes?

We're practising watercolour portrait techniques at school, so I figured it was a perfect opportunity for me to have a crack* at Whitechapel's favourite muse, Oda Elizabeth.

*That's an artistic crack, not a sexy, pants-occupying crack.

Nice one, Krista! You've captured her face shape very well. Much respect for doing good watercolor work.

    @Krista - that's lovely!

@Sizer - swing dancing, and early jazz history/appreciation...possibly. Making sure everyone understands the difference between "theory" and "hypothesis"? Definitely, with mandatory tasering of anyone who says that evolution is "just a theory". Also, I'd require that Lou Rawls' corpse be reanimated so that he would croon me to sleep in that deep, sexy voice of his. I should probably mention at this point that I'm remarkably sleep-deprived.
