So, Sarah Palin is joining the ranks at Fox News.

My favorite bit from the article:
"It's wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news."

Debated where to put this. The TV thread or here. But it's going here for now since I don't know when it comes out.

@Ginja - I think im excited, but that may have been the most useless trailer since the Inception teasers.

    @sacredchao

Personally, I thought they were being very generous and saying she'd be a "contributor" rather than "puppet"

Oldhat that's very cute and random.

Also I'm a vegetarian yet found this video strangely beautiful...its a butcher carving up a pig to the sounds of Kings of Convenience "Gold in the Air of Summer".

    Star Wars-themed Burlesque.

Considering that part of burlesque is the "big reveal" that isn't, I'm intrigued about exactly that was going to be for the Jaba dancer.

I just wanted to say that when I'm having a bad day I just put on Death Metal Rooster and it brightens my day right up

    There Will Come Soft Rains
exquisite animation of the Ray Bradbury short.

    Phonk
a friend of a friend did the visuals for this music video. I like.
He has a ton of other cool stuff on his site.
Hope he won't mind me posting this example:

    THE DEVIL DID IT!

There's Pat Robertson, showing that famous Christian charity and compassion.

A SHEEP gave birth to a dead lamb with a human-like face. The calf was born in a village not far from the city of Izmir, Turkey.

The Slow Down signal, a counterpart to the very well known Bloop signal, albeit less often cited. While the Bloop was detected by microphones in a range of 5000km, Slow down was detected in a range of 2000km. That's still an incredible distance. I highly recommend listening to Bloop at it's original speed (It's usually sped up by 16x, giving it's characteristic "Bloop" noise), as it's a much more menacing thing overall.

From this list of detected sounds.

Patrick Farley reports on his blog:

    "Interesting Development
The top-secret film project I've been working on the past 2 years has been purchased by Disney. Unfortunately I can say no more until the contracts are signed!"

If you're familiar with Farley's E-Sheep Comix, this is really, really interesting.

(He's since taken down that blog entry . . . overwhelmed?)
