@Annie and Pia Guerra - Damn, ladies-- you bumped that bar up on the rest of us really quickly... Stellar work, both of you.

@Annie: It took me a while to decipher what was going on, thanks to the white suit messing with my eyes, drawing them away from his left arm being over his head. Once I figured it out, though, the pose makes perfect sense. Really nice work, and nice expression.

Having just read the latest three Invincible paperbacks inspired me here. That universe of theirs with all their bionic extensions and weirdly humorous backstories was stuck in my head, and this challenge came just at the right time. So here's mine. I guess I have a thing for wires and tubes, or something.

The anal probing was just the start. Trust me... You don't wanna know.

Also, some more comments are in order.

@Neil Ofsteel: I could totally see your rocket rocker reference as a bad guy in the old KIZZ comic.

@Andre Navarro: The first one... Really good. Full page in a comic book, right there. Composition and all, it works nicely. I actually prefer your black-and-white work to your color work. Swastika satellite, haha.

@Stsparky: More of a straight-up design, but I do like your deliberately cheesy writing.

@Gomezpupato: Reimagining the Ace of Space as a hyperviolent downtown skater punk in a turban? I could see it. Another good bit of art, too.

@Tristan Davis: The crossed-out alien writing makes the picture.

@Pia Guerra: I want your inking skills. Monochrome win. Hitting the home base, right in Hitler's face, what a fall from grace, time to bring the... mace?

So do I, mate. But I always get that nagging thought on the back of my mind -- "maybe THIS time I can make the coloring work, as if by magic!" Never, ever fucking does. I must learn to kick that nagging thought in the head and stick to black and white.

@Andre: Nothing wrong with trying out stuff! Threads like these are good places to do that. It's not bad coloring at all... It's more that I think your current style, thin lines and all, fits black-and-white stuff better, or possibly a different coloring style. You definitely know how to do monochrome. Tried doing colors a bit... looser?

@Sobreiro, DAMN. That is both gorgeous and a little bit creepy, what with the mask. Beautiful!

Sobreiro: Agreed; that mask is intense.

@meatgun--Awesome costume design. Who knew pink and powder blue could be so kickass? I always like your stuff.

@Sizer--That is remarkable for the artwork, and even more so for the hilarity. Top notch!

@Brian le Golem--Cool pen+watercolors look (is that what it is?). Your Dr. kinda looks like Quentin Tarantino!

@Sobreiro: beautiful and creepy--something about the sunken eyes in the mask...very very cool.

@twentythoughts--that beatdown is almost tangible. I mean, I know he's a nazi and all, but I still can't help but wince!

@Pia--Not like there was ever any doubt, but there's a damn good reason why you make comics. Beautifully awesome (love that he's steering with his foot!).

@Tristan--Cool body language/pose of your Ace. For me personally, I don't know if the ship is quite up to snuff with the Ace (maybe because its not textured/shaded?)--but yeah--cool Ace!

@Annie--That is super duper kickass. That image prompted me to check out your other stuff on the web and I'm already a fan. Can't wait to see more!

Great work everyone! All I could think of when I saw the title was Motörhead's 'Ace of Spades'
