    Currently listening to a song from The Knife's upcoming new album which is an opera about Darwin. And yeah, I mean I love The Knife and probably would think anything they did was amazing, but...this is amazing.

    But there is a new Nitzer Ebb album titled Industrial Complex. They had physical copies when I opened for them in December and it's on iTunes.

    the Mountain Goats - The Coroners Gambit
    The Knife - Colouring of Pigeons f/ Mt Sims and Planingtorock (The first "single" they're teasing us with from the Darwin opera that's released in two months.)

    All seven minutes of this monster, about three times in a row now, because a) one minute and fifty seconds b) the new order-esque synth that comes in just when you think it's about to go on too long, and c) the fact that it's the same damn verse repeated over and over again to different rhythms and melodies.
