    Wild Beasts, Two Dancers- Best thing to come out of 2009, as far as I'm concerned.

    Phoenix, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix- All lush and gallic, makes me feel feminine and... pretty.

    Animal Collective, Fall be Kind EP- Hugely disappointing to be honest, but interesting in places.

    Owen Pallett, Heartland- Thieved an advance copy, absolutely mindblowing.

    Beach House, Teen Dream- Out at the end of the month, and already a strong contender for album of 2010. 'Used to be' leaves me speechless every time.

    Those, and Joy Division's entire discography. Because I'm broke, unemployed and single. And it's January. Again.

    Been listening to the new Bird From the Abyss, over and over again. It's good. Not sure if it's not as good as I, or if it's just a matter of I being perfect, but I find by playing I before II, I get something greater than the sum of it's parts. The limited edition packaging is quite beautiful, too.
