And it's friday, so last card for the week, unless we somehow manage to magically sell another 50 copies during the weekend and score another bonus card:
(This one goes out to all the circus freaks like myself. And no, for the record, that's not my hand.)
@Alastair- The symbols for the Circles suit all come from existing occult/magical symbols (public domain versions, of course)- in the case of the six, they're six of the demonic sigils of the goetia. Wikipedia's got some good basic information on it if you're curious, otherwise, I'd recommend just picking up a book on the subject at your local bookstore's occult section- it's still fairly widely published, last I checked.
@MrMonk- Now look. We've tested and gone over these configurations time and again, and we can honestly say that the cards definitely do NOT open a gate to the netherworld. Just... don't end up with a straight flush of Circles in any five-card poker game.
@steevo- that'd be because they are little labyrinths. Great, now I've almost got this "Baby Muppet Show" concept in my head, featuring little labyrinths toddling about...
..ok, that's just wrong. Let's move onwards, shall we?
Gah, I only just checked this thread, damn my laziness. Bravo Dmitri, these are just unbelievably beautiful. They should almost certainly only be sold with a lockable lead case so they can be pitched into an ocean trench or active volcano when the keening sibilant whispers in the night grow too much.
@RenThing- It'll be the standard 52 deck, with jokers, so 54 for the initial deck- if there's enough interest and such, I'll do an Arcana expansion that can be added to the original. Though if I do a Major Arcana, it'll definitely be widely different from the standard tarot set.
