			<![CDATA[ Not sure if this is even the right area for this but it fits with the "Make Something" meme  that's been so prominent here lately.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.techshop.ws/" >Techshop </a>is a co-operatively owned work space where members can access tools ranging from hand tools to lathes to CNC machines.<br /><br />There are also courses in how to use the different machines.<br /><br />Now personally I got 16% in Metalwork and 18% in Woodwork so it would be much use to me personally but I think this is a great idea.<br /><br />it'd be particularly great to see some of these in Africa and Sotuh Asia where the access to these tools is probably lwest and the need is probably greatest.<br /><br />There are similar (but less technically advanced) facilities in Australia called <a href="http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/200706/s1944719.htm" >"community sheds".</a> ]]>
