    I don't know if this has been asked before, so I'm sorry if I'm treading old ground - I just wondered because, as I recall (I don't have my copies with me so I can't check) the LOCs are said to have come from London as refugees from the flooding.
    Flooding severe enough to have created an entire diaspora? Sounds like the Whitechapel we know and love...
