    i've not seen much about this in the local rags, but anyone in toronto next week who likes music might want to check out this new music festival going on next week.
    along with talks with the man there will be his chamber, orchestral, and choral music performed along with that of gorecki and norbert palej.
    a lot of it is also free and will probably cause my brain to explode.

    I am so jealous I don't live in Toronto right now. Lucien, don't worry about exploding brain, it will be a good explosion, and worth any mopping that might have to follow it.

    yeah, excellent stuff. i only missed the last day which was mostly choral. that sucked, but was more than made up for by the chamber music that i had never heard before. my brain is pretty useless anyway and i've been scraping it off my boots ever since hearing threnody live. music is better than most things.
