"Spaced-out psych/drone made by two dudes utilizing one Korg DS-10 each. Imagine taking an elevator to the ?th floor and when you exit you're in the blindingly dark expanse of a huge cave chamber (why is it up so high?) and it's so disorienting and you can't see the top and you think to yourself, "I've never seen the stars so bright before." Get it if you dig Oneohtrix Point Never, Caboladies, Fuck Buttons, Endless Endless Endless, etc. Stream it (I recommend "Battleground Sky")"

"Ever wanted @FuckButtons & @0PN to make a record together? That's what Megabats sounds like. And it's fucking AMAZING"

Our full length album "in/out" is out on most MP3 stores.
So, we're that much closer to releasing the full length album, Skull Island! But there are six good songs for your listening pleasure in a flash widget on the site.
A 20-year old track from my very obscure Executive Lullabies LP is going to be used in an indie feature film coming out (at least on the festival circuit) in June. This is great and unexpected (and I think I'm most surprised that they had a copy of the album to begin with).
"The twelve-track album begins as a beautiful, dreamy blend of minimal electronic grooves and sedate guitar riffs, then slowly escalates, fluctuating between waves of intricate, restless layers, and muted ambiance. At times measured and brooding, at times brimming with anticipation, this is easily one of my favorite albums of 2010 so far. Bonus? Every song is named after a star, the album thus forming a constellation."
Thanks again to CosmoZo, Patron Saint of These Starry Travels.
We need your numbers ! please, if you can, record yourself reciting numbers, be they random or meaningful in the style of a Numbers Station - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbers_station - for use on a forthcoming project. Thank you

and i'll post this too because i think some of you might find it interesting. we couldn't pick a band name for a few weeks, so eventually we decided to have a bracket style tournament, single elimination. we came up with 64 band names and pitted them against each other, one match at a time. eventually, one name remained. check it out.
We just launched a new dubstep / electronica label over on Black Lantern Music, called Urge Mode. There's one release up so far, by Blackmass Plastics, who has released on Rag&Bone and a few other dubstep labels before.. Another to follow in a day or two from my collaborator Morphamish. The beautiful logo was designed by Whitechapel's favored son AndreNavarro! Hope you enjoy. Details about the first EP here.
The three of us used to be in Jersey City's infamous The Meltdowns a long long time ago who enjoyed a bit of internet joy when Warren wrote about us a few times on his main page. Though I think he liked us less and less when the girl left and I became the singer.
In any event, Disasters is the noisy byproduct of a year and half of sweat, whisky, and some tears. Enjoy.
