Crime In Stereo-I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone Murder By Death-Good Morning, Magpie Kenickie-At the Club. (In honor of Phonogram's last issue. I was not expecting it to be this good.) Strike Anywhere-Iron Front and the Pure Trance box set Water Records put out.
For no reason other than the seething nest of vipers that resides in my brain, i was listening to a load of early Big Country last night and this morning.
Been on a bit of a Tool binge lately. However, today's albums:
Tool's "Lateralus" Sick of it All's "Death to Tyrants" Neurosis's "Through Silver in Blood" and right now, Exhorder's "The Law" (Hell yeah, Pantera wanted to be them, once they got over their glam fixation, that is.)
A whole lotta Why?, Neko Case, Rolling Stones, Made Out of Babies, some classic rock cock-rock, some Simon & Garfunkel, and currently a genius playlist based on Al Green. Which has yielded some interesting results.
