I was rather curious as to what I actually was reading....

You are not a Gadget by Jaron Lanier
Internet & philosophy.

Color and Human Response by Birren Faber

The Art Instinct by Dennis Dutton

Upgrade your life, by Gina Trapani

What is your Dangerous Idea by John Brockman
aka "What my Dangerous Idea Did on Summer Vacation". For philosophy class

Complete Idiot's Guide to Philosophy
...so I can get a better idea of what I'm supposed to be learning from said class...

Sherlock Holmes, by Arthur Conan Doyle

Under the Dome by Stephen King

The Academic Questions of Cicero

Someone comes to town Someone leaves town by Cory Doctorow

Frankenstein *-new Draft edition

oh yeah. and there's a book about CSS that's not on my list, and two prepubs that I can't see from here.

I seem to go through cycles where I withdraw from people and read. And read. And Read. It seems that, as a child, once I got the knack of reading, something about it just clicked with me, and I became an utterly voracious reader. It got me away from my small-town life, away from bullies, and was an activity that always provided me with pleasure. Like drawing, I remember having to work like hell to really 'get' it, but once I got it, it quickly became a somewhat soothing habit.
