Ah hell... bigger week than I'm used to... $6 Soleil book, and a $10 sketch book, but a decent amount of series ending for me.
What I'm getting this week:
BATMAN CONFIDENTIAL #42 -- Sam Kieth Goodness
CHEW #9 -- Not sure how long this will be entertaining for... might cancel it soon
CROSSED #9 (OF 9) -- Sad to see this go... but REALLY looking forward to this issue
DAFFODIL #3 (OF 3) -- Much better than it has any right to be. (Soleil title)
DETECTIVE COMICS #862 -- Jock's art is good, but I miss JH Williams
JUSTICE LEAGUE CRY FOR JUSTICE #7 (OF 7) -- Showed a lot of promise, not as good as I had hoped, but still worth the read
SAM KIETH SKETCHBOOKS VOL 01 -- More Kieth goodness!
What I'm getting when it comes out in trade:
DEMO VOL 2 #2 (OF 6) -- Recently read Demo Vol1, can't wait for more
INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #24 -- Fraction is great

Small week for me.
DETECTIVE COMICS #862. I concur with Warped, but I'm mainly there due to Rucka.
BUFFY #33. I'm a little worried about Meltzer's writing here because he's out of his wheel house, but part one was pretty good.
FIRST WAVE #1. I've really liked the previews so I'm all in. -

Crossed is going to be an ongoing title with David Lapham taking over the scripts and Javier Barreno drawing.

Some of the preview covers are depicting the ladies of the crossed world (at last) and the authors have played beautifully with the most trysted horror we associate with feminine spite (culturally).

Adventure Comics-Alot of fun, i've always dug the character.
Chew-One of my favorite books coming out. It's written like a great cable series, and the art is suhweet.
Crossed-This book makes my soul hurt every issue. I'm looking forward to how Ennis wraps it up. Also looking forward to the David Lapham arc.
God Complex-Another book that's just a fun read.
Sam Kieth Sketchbooks-I love love love Sam Kieth. One of the first artists I actively searched for when I got into comics.
Stephen King's N-I loved the shirt story, and I pick up any King comic adaptation.
Sweet Tooth- What an insanely good book. Vertgio has been putting out stuff in the past few years right up there with their 90's stuff, IMO. -

Erik -- Have you been getting Kieth's Batman? If not, you should check it out... really good so far.
Zip -- I honestly don't know how I feel about the next series... I might get it, but honestly, probably not. I don't see much of a point of it.

Zip -- yeah, that's what I figure... I'll give it a flip through at my local shop. Assuming they get it in, that is. (I think I'm the only reason they get Crossed in right now... which seems wrong to me.)
I also realized last night that after getting in the first 8 issues with the regular cover they, for some reason, ordered the wrap cover of this one.
Which makes me glad that I have another shop that I pass on the way home from work. -
