Something that may be a reason why people no longer get excited by a new Moore miniseries is that he sounds like he's slightly fallen out of love with comics. Every interview I read seems to feature at least one reference to the idea that he's dissapointed with the medium these days, and that he's a little bit bored with it. I don't want to read comics written by someone who is bored with comics.

-This one is actually being written by Moore, right? Because, assuming it is, as far as I know it's the first thing for Avatar that he's actually written. (Everything else has been based off of something he wrote and adapted by someone else.)

That being said, both my cousin and I are quite excited about it and both paid out the money for the regular and silly expensive issue.
