    @konstantineur: Haha, is that modeled after Buckaroo Banzai-era Peter Weller?

    I think I'm buying two copies of Muller's - one to read and one to frame.

    Here is my take on the cover:

    Hope you digg it!

    If I had more time I would have dedicated some more effort into this. But I think you'll get the gist.

    @ somnonaut Well, I guess my influences (and addictions...) come through, eh...?

    First of all, the level of brilliance and talent in this thread is absurd. I'll try to keep up with this recurring new feature, but I can only hope to one day reach this level of design skill and artistic excellence. Warren, the Cover Remodel was a great idea.

    My fellow Zuda mate Felipe Sobreiro was showing off his submission to this little remake project on Twitter and I just had to make one. So, I joined the site and here's my first post and submission. This was a lot of fun flexing my design muscles a bit.

    OK, here's mine.
    Superman R/R by Alberto

    @Art Grafunkel, @Sizer, @Sobreiro, @helloMuller: I love what you are doing with your vector graphics, guys. I can't pick a favorite, but there's already a book or two in here that I'd buy just for the look of It's cover.

    Who's next? We want more!

    @DocJ021: try removing the "/" at the end of the URL, maybe that's the problem...

    @gushiguera: Welcome to the boards, and kudos on an excellent cover design; very striking, and I love the flow of the forms!

    @Alberto: Great work, as always, I really love the colors in this one, different from how you normally color? Regardless, excellent.

    @Andre: Great pull from different cultural references, nice variance!

    I'm also a newbie and nobody has said anything about my picture. I'm very upset :(
    (Well, no, I'm really not, but anyway, any comment will be welcome :) )

    As far as I'm concerned, I must say that I really love the covers done by Art, Paul or Sobreiro. I also like Muller's cover even if it's very scary (maybe because of that) but my favorite one has been painted by jamesmith3. That's a really pretty cover. I don't now why you think is predictable at all even if it could seem more classic, like mine.

    @rickiep00h: I sense a watchmen inspiration?
    @Andre: Why this tribal look?
    @DocJ021: I love the wild west idea. :)

    @Jsm - Sort of. More the idea that super-men aren't necessarily all they're cracked up to be... or worse. Which probably comes from reading too much Ellis. I think Chris G's Manhattan-esque blue dude ingrained itself in my head, too.

    ETA: Also, the second tag line is what really popped into my head, so I was trying to figure out way to say it visually. Ended up being a little cliche for my liking, but I got a Kubrick ref in, so that made me happy.
