    I'm throwing my creative hat into the proverbial ring with you all. Hope you dig it.

    @methemordant: Your pulp approach is great! The color scheme and execution are brilliant!

    @Fernando Lucas: One WOW... then a second WOW...

    This could get interesting-- the thread just made Sci Fi Wire. Complete with images of 4 of the entries. Just FYI.

    Blue uniform, eh? I dunno about you, but the first thing I thought was "cop."

    I drew the image two days ago, only got to the scanner today. Brian le Golem came within inches of the same idea in the meantime, but here he is nonetheless.

    Yikes, I had no idea what a "pen portrait" actually was. Now I know better.

    @mthemordant - NICE palette!

    I can't do this yet, but LORD do I want to. Maybe while I'm off in the mountains I'll do this as an exercise. If mine ends up too late I'll just throw it in the artist's thread. Really freaking looking forward to all the new posts and whatever Unkie War-War throws this way next. Holy shit.

    Despite feeling very intimidated by the entries here, I'll humbly add my own. The historical fiction epic about the war to end all wars, Superman.

    Project Runway has posted links to this thread as well!

    I have to say, these have been absolutely amazing. I wish I had even a smidgen of an idea to contribute to this one.

    some great artwork popping up, I did have a second one in the works, but unfortunately I'm off to the Lake District this weekend.
    Hope there's another challenge soon.

    Thanks for all the comments as well
