@ Ryan S Thomason – Nice! Even more old school than the direction I took!
    @ agnosticator – Great art!
@ dancingpencil – Ha! Great take on “Read Flesh”
    @ Hartter – It’s like an old sci-fi paper back… nice colors

Great graphic covers by Sobreiro, Raid71 and Paul Sizer!

I took a more Golden Age approach...

@dancingpencil - nice! Looks like he's on the verge of masturbating there. Very Robert Crumb.
@256 - easily the most twisted interpretation thus far, impressive
@Dbed - good use of fonts! I suck at it. The lettering/ assembly of my image took up at least as much time as the actual art, probably more.

Mr ellis, why do the RnR threads oscillate between the 'pub table' and 'london zoo' catagories?

Had a hole in my schedule this morning, so this had time to be born...

Back when the future was the future.
Great design work so far from Raid71 (minimal!), 256 (conceptual!), Dbed (great art and concept), Sobreiro (clean!), Andre (weird and funny as usual). More More More. This challenge is still fresh for new ideas!

Loving the best of this stuff! All the covers on page 7 are excellent! as are some of the others. great that everyone goes to the effort.

here's my one, I was trying to for that retro look where dinosaurs were all thick and meaty , with beefy arms etc (as opposed to tiny t-rex arms). Here's my effort!

My last entry was kind of a rush job, and while I liked some of the ideas in it, I wasn't very happy with the execution. Luckily I found more time to work on it, so here's the moar bettur version. I went for a frenetic, tabloid kinda layout as opposed to the clean aesthetic favored by the young and art-savvy. Character-wise I was going for Evil-Kenevil-meets-Knight-Rider.

Here's mine a bit smaller so you can see it all. sorry for the massive one earlier!
    smaller dino cover

Doh something went wrong there and it came out massive again - I'll just leave it for now!

Is it safe to assume the deadline is Sunday night? Can someone please confirm this?

    Thanks!

Do have more than one post, or is this a one and done thing like last time?

@256 - 1984 in your face with its arm down your throat yanking your gizzards. As Ellis said--inspired.

Here's hoping disqualified entries don't count towards the two entry limit otherwise this ubercrap joke may never see the light of day...
