Jimi Hendrix reissues are on almost constant repeat at the moment. When they aren't, I've finally stumped up for the Them Crooked Vultures album and am liking Butterfly Explosion - Lost Trails too
Speaking of Jònsi I'm listening to the record he did with Alex Somers, "Riceboy Sleeps"... It isn't bad, but feels like a sophisticated muzak in a way, like a background sound for you to listen while you wait around or work. This week I've also listened to a lot of Johnny Cash, Kelly Bailey's soundtrack for "Half-life 2" (there are some very interesting tracks here), George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" , Gorillaz' "Plastic Beach" (just listened to it once, it made no impression yet, I have to listen to it more) and some Dr. Octagon.
@Pupato, I'm normally too impatient to listen to jazz, but last year I came accross "The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady" and it stroke me as the single best jazz record I've ever listened!

More generally, lots of grime and dubstep: Roll Deep's Street Anthems and the Run The Road comps, the Hyperdub comp and the 10 Tons Heavy comp from Planet Mu.
I am going to be listening to The Filthy Kicks free album "Dirty Little Secret" quite a lot this week. It fits in with the thinking I'm doing at the moment.
Yeah I know it's necrophiliacky but I went ahead and bought the 'new' Hendrix, Valleys of Neptune. Not so keen on the title track but some of the others are outstanding.

Ludacris - Battle of the Sexes Three 6 Mafia - Laws of Power Mixtape Luda's album is him in peak form full of charisma and wit, Three 6's mixtape preview of their next album shows them going for the club-rap gold ring leading to some interesting responses. The jury is still out.
