A fresh Iron Sky Signal is out. Stuff from our first day of shooting, and stuff about our new service: Iron Sky Sneak Peek. We will be revealing the first five minutes to fans before the movie is officially published - and also how we made them, from idea to scripts, animatics etc. People can choose how much that is worth - the minimum sum is one euro.

Ze Goggles, zey... look awesome actually!

We also closed the main street of Frankfurt and made a huge explosion, with 100 fans playing the role of a panicking crowd. Good times, good times.

Congrats! I can't wait to see this thing completed! Did my poster get used in the theatre scene?

Quite a lot of the fan created posters got used in the scene, there will be more about that in the upcoming Iron Sky Signal, which I should start editing... well, now :) I have over 1TB of making of video materia to comb through from the last month alone. Right now I'm grappling with a horrific jetlag, landed in Winland yesterday. I suppose our DOP is lagging a bit more than I, since yesterday he happened to win a Jussi price, essentially the Finnish Oscar for his work in Rare Exports :)

@Vornaskotti Okay, just making sure. This probably won't be the last time you hear or see that comparison, so I figured I'd put it out now. I'm just waiting for some thirteen-year-old to create a mashup video of a space battle between the two.

Yep, no problem. As a matter of fact we haven't had any kind of outcry or negative feedback from either a) Germans or b) Jewish people about the concept of the movie and as a matter of fact we got invited to a festival of Jewish film a while back, which is kind of interesting. There have been only a couple of people who have been offended enough about the concept that they've seen fit to speak about it to us or in some of our social media conversations. It's kind of telling that none of them have had anything to do with the groups that supposedly are insulted by the film...

@Vornaskotti I'm sure most of the festival loved it, especially since it's obviously a comedy. That swastika space station alone was hilarious... and well-made, I might add. I think Mel Brooks would be proud. :-)

So when will the graphic novel adaptation appear? This seems perfect for the medium of comics.
