Mornin', Whitechapel. The weather continues to improve this week (as it should until mid-summer when I start bitching about how fucking hot it is and will have forgotten all about winter. Like ya do.), along with my mood. How's everybody?
I love how there's so little drama when 'Kady teleports. No sounds, no flashes of light. The look on Mark's face there is absolutely priceless. Turns out there are things he doesn't know about the package after all.
It is warmer here at last after one of the worst winter's I can remember (this is of course relative, a bad winter for the UK would barely be noticed in more prepared and less wussy parts of the world). It is, however, going to piss it down all weekend. Ah well, can't have everything.
A welcome break to the program report I have to hand in at 2! The pacing is excellent, can really feel the urgency. Do I wish I'd taken Illustration up rather than computers? (maybe...)
You know, the level of art on FreakAngels is so consistently good that I tend to forget just how good it is until something like this comes along. You do fantastic work Paul!
It's a fairly common cry at this stage of the comeuppance proceedings (although it's not quite what Luke said)
(Of course... panel #1 next week may show a trashed room, bodies everywhere, and Mark in the middle muttering 'I didn't want to have to do that, kids!'. Only time will tell)
Now THAT's a curveball, and a hilarious one too! I imagine Warren, Paul et al must sit here sniggering at some of our predictions for future episodes, knowing we're way, way off from what is actually going to happen.
Outisde of another fairly soul crushing week at work, the rest has been lovely, thankew.
I loved "three minutes ago she was dead and now she seems to be running the world" Ace!
Been a mixed bag this week, took some photos, had cookies and tea with friends, and got some test results back which were all clear (all good!) but I still don't know what's wrong with me and it left me a little blue :( But today the sun is shining and I rode my bike to work so all is good again :)
"I am the best mind of my generation." destroyed by madness, starving, hysterical...? And apparently about to be destroyed. I must agree with wymarc--my heart clenched up at Page 4. Each of these pages is worth well over 1000 words, but "WTF?" sure sums up Mark's countenance.
Anyone who has fought with siblings will attest to the authenticity of Mark and Kaitlyn's fight. "I'm a grown up and you're a little girl." Oh, so mature!
Yeah, no point even trying to predict what happens next. Great work gents and ladies.
