After NAWLZ dropped the final "issue" of Season One late in 2009 I kept checking back to see if the amazing was back. Then I forgot about it for awhile. Well, it's back now! It's even more like a motion comic AND animation this time around - but some of the effects are really stunning (you'll see).
Wow, that recap was handy. There's apparently loads of stuff in Season 1 that went right over my head. I think maybe Nawlz has a problem that it's trying to drop you right into this alien future, but because of that you don't necessarily spot when a character's doing something extraordinary because you don't have a baseline to compare it with.
Season 2 is much more understandable and focused. It's like season one was a testing ground for trying new things, and season two is using those tools to tell a story.
