I wanted to say thanks before this thread closed for the welcome and kind words on my first post here. I'm an old dog learning new tricks with the blogs, forums and all. Been doing this for 30 years now and even had the first computer generated art (that's what we called it back in them olden days) in the Orlando Sentinel back in the 80's, but a kind word from my peers still feels good. Everyone who takes part in the White Chapel forums needs to have a pat on the back for being supportive as I've noticed nearly every art/design forum out there is full of the "my dog can draw better than that" kind of people, which has kept me from participating. I'm guessing part of the credit goes to Warren Ellis for setting this up his way. I might be mistaken but I think I passed up a chance to talk with him at Orlando Comicon, but I was busy haggling over a $20 double dual dragon samurai sword, hey priorities man.
Great the type on both @raid71.. love the "lies" on @Ryan S Thomason.... @struthersneil was going the same EC Comics route as I did, like that... @Paul Sizer #2-@Sobreiro skull, @Art Grafunkel definitely woulds look inside and @icelandbob because I have a soft spot fro any kind of steampunk vibe.
@Pupato - Hahaha. That's Puerta del Sol! The Tío Pepe billboard! A fellow countryman, maybe? @Rooth - "I might post the sketch", he said. Awesome, man.
This month has been a lot of fun, so thanks for the nice comments and congrats to all those who contributed some artwork.
Pupato Nice work, like in your previus works, it call my attention, how you work the letters, typography with facility and flexibility. Today find someone who works drawn typography is very strange.
i bow to the forum.... my second entry was a proffesor X as superhero prostitute botherer - made using as many different sheroines as possible and a cool background... it kinda came across a bit adolescent and rubbish - i'll post asap... but in comparison to my first cover and the majority of the entries on here it looks weak as a tea made from dribbling on a tetley bag....
you guys are ALL my heroes.. and i can;t wait for this whole shebang to start again...
@Alberto, jeje, glad someone recognized it, yeaaah, i´m afraid so; i´m living in that awfull & dirty, not designed for bicycles town called Madrid : ) ... hi...
Por cierto... Qué... Coño... Hacemos... Hablando... Inglés...
