Oooo- and I have got to pass this one on. Here's the link I was sent, but the whole blog is full of searchword goodness.
  1.  (7963.6)

Good choice. I haz it on my RSS reader.....
  2.  (7963.7)
Rowland S Howard - Teenage Snuff Film
Crime and the City Solution - Room Of Lights/Just South of Heaven

...and trying very hard not to buy a Fender Jaguar in homage.

The Advisory Circle - Mind How You Go (Revised Edition)
The new tracks, mixes and arrangement makes an already awesome album just that much better.

Twilight - Monument to Time End
Sludgy black metal supergroup featuring members of Isis, The Atlas Moth and Nachtmystium. Liking this one much more than their debut. Shame about the name and shame they've called it quits already.

    Daughters - Self-Titled
Wasn't that familiar with them until late last year, but I've been playing the hell out of this.

Dillinger Escape Plan - Option Paralysis
Much less schizophrenic than Ire Works. Not ready to say its better yet, but I think they've done a more coherent job of marrying their older hardcore style with the poppy/NIN-influcenced stuff.

Ben Frost - By The Throat
I keep coming back to this over and over. Beautiful but menacing electronica.

@Mitch Alexander - I got to hear rough mixes of that record when I was staying at the Atlas Moth house last summer. Fucking brutal.

Just found out we're opening for Titus Andronicus tonight. Bitchin.

Really liking the new DJ Spooky disc... And Mose Allison's new CD, while 90 degrees askew from what I've been listening to lately, is exceptional. Robert Rich's new one is very good, too. All I've heard of My Brightest Diamond is that "Shark Remix" collection, so I don't know anything about the original versions.

@JiveKitty, i'm at a loss to explain, without sounding like an elitist asshole, why i think the principle of Eluvium never having vocals is more important than the way Eluvium might sound with vocals.
with that bias exposed, i will go on to say that i think it sounds like ass.

Amanda Palmer is free from Roadrunner and posted a pay-as-much-as-you-want single. It's hilarious and loose and I love it and I hope you do too.

I do, in fact, love AFP's new song, and I am super-happy for her being cut loose from her label.

What was in the car all weekend, because I kept forgetting to grab anything else:
Look What I Did- Atlas Drugged
    Foxy Shazam- Introducing
Ideamen- May You Live In Interesting Times
Duct Tape Mustache- Mise en Scene
    Super 8 Bit Brothers- Brawl
    ohGr- Welt

I happened to click on the "Nashville" tag on bandcamp, so I'm checking out some free local stuff. Dug a 3 song ep from Makeup and Vanity Set, listening to 3 preview tracks from Turbo Fruits at the moment.
