    edit for punctuation

    More Spacemen 3 this week.

Also - in a completely non-ironic way - Sandie Shaw "Hello Angel".

Superb album, covers the Smiths' "Hand in Glove" and "Cool about you" by JAMC, and lots of other sunny orchestrated pop songs.

I will turn the sound down during tonight's Prime Minister debate, and play Sandie instead. The world will become a tiny bit more pleasant as a result...

    Flying Lotus - Cosmogramma

Fantastic new album from FlyLo, channeling Coltrane, Sun Ra Arkestra, Daedelus, and every kind of electronic music you've ever shaken a stick at.

Also - A Decade of Flying Lotus, mixed by Gaslamp Killer [free DL]

    Twinkranes - Spektrum Theatre Snakes

    Irish power-trio krautrock revivalists?

Actually, they sound to me like a very much improved version of Silver Apples.

It's been a bit of a music free weekend...listened to a bit of John Petrucci, that that's all.
