I finally got a decent self portrait this week . . . some days you feel more photogenic than others :)

    @thewaltonsare
    It's lovely!
And I know just what you mean.
I always felt like I'm not very photogenic. In fact, I still do. Which might seem super bizarre in light of all my self portraits, but actually that's what made me such a great person to practice on.
That isn't to say that I don't like the way I look (because I really do. I love me! Ha HA! No one is surprised by this news!). But sometimes it takes a lot before I get that shot that I'm content with.

@Gekko Yay! This current series of yours is fabulous!

Your black&white pics are mighty good, Cara. But why so serious? ;)

I'm fooling around with things I don't really know in Photoshop.

If I'm to be extraordinary let it be for the print behind me, and the booze inside me.

@Oda-I tend to look serious because my lip does a strange Elvis-type sneer when I smile (unless it's a huge smile) and it makes me self conscious.

Here's yesterday's self portrait, it's not too serious :) I was making faces at my daughter who was making them back--it was fun.
Day 96: Makin' faces at the Munchkin

-I like the coloring on your picture.

@V-One of the reasons that I'm doing a 365 project is because I usually don't like the way that I look and this is forcing me to become more comfortable in front of the camera. It's an exercise in self-acceptance. I also go through a ton of shots to get one that I like, thank goodness for the delete button.

-You always look beautiful in your photos!

On the computer in my bedroom. it's been a lazy, relaxing day after a long time of trying to find a damn job and three days and a bit of working hard in an editing room. Imagine some cheesy lounge music playing and that's pretty much the environment of my bedroom right now.

Hello again, folks! Been keeping to IRC for a while now (Almost a year, eek!) partly due to university work. Thought I might try to come back and this time do my best not to get obsessed with reading EVERYTHING.

I'll start myself off with a picture of myself, after watching Primer.
I call it "The Primer Effect"

We've had other as well, I believe, but I don't know if they're around.
Glad to see I'm not alone! We must inundate these philistines with stories about brown cheese and Hansa Pils. ^_^

Yes, I know. But they're not active. Haha, I saw Dylan Moran yesterday, and he had some things to say about us Norwegians. The brown cheese is apparently found under the arses of huge squirrels. ;)
