For a few weeks, we're going to try something a little different in the REMAKE/REMODEL space.
Usual REMAKE/REMODEL rules apply:
No pen-portraits. This is ART ONLY. Posting just a bunch of text, or a scribble and a vast number of words, will get the thread closed and your account banned.
NO MORE PHOTO-MANIPULATION "art". I'll just delete them. People have been drenching recent threads with several pieces at a time that they've knocked out in photoshop in 2 minutes with no thought at all. I consider this to be taking the piss now.
No more than
ONE
The challenge is simply this:
In a single illustration, capture The X-Men in the style of FREAKANGELS.
Our flooded, steam-powered, post-apocalypse London... with X-Men in it.
You may want to consider that FREAKANGELS wouldn't be FREAKANGELS without the watery, "cel-shaded" colour design and palette that Paul created.
Also, obviously, that the characters would require a complete redesign to fit into the FREAKANGELS world.
And that's it.
It's a long weekend, so I'm going to give everyone a head start. This'll run for 8 days, closing on the night of Sunday 11 April.
