Damnit! Why did I have to log on only NOW?! It's Saturday and I have work, there's no way I can finish the awesome ideas floating in my brain! You've combined two of my favorite things and now I won't be able to get the art done in time! I had such a great idea too!
this is my pathetic, rushed, shitty excuse for a entry... i pride myself on my pen and ink skills... but seriously, when i saw ALberto's entry i was BLOWN THE FUCK AWAY... that picture was utterly brilliant...
SO here's my attempt...
From left to rght we have Cyclops, Wolverine, sat at the front is my version of Rogue and finally Storm...
Not how i intended it to be, but needed to get in on this one as it is a great idea...
FAVES: @ooglimooglie @clone artist @alberto - amazing.
@lordmitz - JUBILEE!!! awesome with the jubille line tattooo.. @neilford - so jealous of the fact you did the Cyclops/spot welding mask!!! great image @Frequentcontributor - as always legendary @sobriero - you always rock, i want to read a comic book by you so badly... @vickyvan - pencil work fabulosa... great pencils...
And just under the wire..... Whew! My team for post flood survival: Top row: Cannonball (air recon), Cuckoos (telepathy), Cypher/Warlock (language/translation/communications) Bottom row: Storm (weather control/crops), Forge (technology/fabrication), Rogue (muscle)
Thanks Pupato for remind me about this. I completely forget.
In xmen always I thought that the topic of the discrimination was important, because of it it seems to me to be impossible to elude the topic of the society in this case a furious multitude behind of the xmen.
Unfortunately I could not finish this drawing like I would like it.
Sizer: Great team members! New Mutants love is always a plus, and the Cuckoos are fun, too.
Francundo: Lookin' good. I like the ambiguity of the team members (from my persepective...). To me it looks like there are two Charles Xaviers (in the front and his mind-double in the back looking all Hulked out...), Ronin from the New Avengers, and a little green Martian (and maybe Rogue on the left?).
@VickyVan--whatever makes a great picture, that's a great picture. @Jamesmith3--great perspective. @oogliemooglie--dynamite visor. @Alberto--favorite visual interpretation of Wolverine, and Storm's umbrella's a perfect touch. @Sobreiro--again, he makes it his own.
