Mark lives, how unpredictable was that?

Anyway, good episode I really did enjoy them rebuilding the building. Very fun to watch indeedy.

I bet that scene would look great as a flip book. I could watch it for days.

While they were rebuilding, I wondered whether they also moved Mark back to the upper floor.

This is the time to find out just how nuts Mark is. Will he still challenge the rest of the Freakangels after this second show of power?

I'm sorry, "nuts" isn't the word that I wanted. What is the adjective to describe someone who's so full of ambition and a belief in their own power that they're oblivious to the weakness of their position?

    @ Berserker LMFAO spot on!

Um, that was very uplifting. I had no idea they could think like that. When Arkady said that he was still alive in there, what did she mean by "in there"?

    Great stuff Maynerd!

Take that, Second Law of Thermodynamics!

Also, theory on Arkady not knowing about Luke's death is pretty simple: she's not paying attention to him. They're linked only when they're concentrating on it, not constantly. (How else could he almost get away with rape twice?)

I drew a parallel between this comic and 14-year old Mark's statements about making things better. I'm predicting that at some point all 10 "good" Freakangels put their minds to rolling back the tide.

Dave Matthew, I get that they are not always linked up together, but a few episodes back Carl was on the roof looking at the world from the sky and he saw Luke die. He was keeting with Connor and he says something like, "Luke's dead. Luke's dead Connor. And Mark's back!" Then here 'Kady says that she thinks Luke got away and Carl doesn't say anything? I don't really understand that.

Is Kady saying he's alive because he got his shield up
or that he's alive, and he got his shield up ?

(Meaning- Did they intend to kill Mark, and would have if he hadn't gotten his shield up?)
If they don't actually say it you just have to read between the lines.

I really don't think it's Karl keeping it from them, he's just a little busy with what's going on with Mark and the building at the moment. Arkady wasn't as specific as "Luke's alive" she just said that it was likely that everyone was after him. Is Karl supposed to go "Oh yeah, Jack killed him," while they are dealing with Mark and while Kait's standing right there? I just think he didn't speak up because it was less important to deal with that than with the threat of the still living Mark. Luke will still be dead ten minutes from now (unless freakangel mojo occurs)... who knows what will happen with Mark? It's not like Karl, out of the other FA, is going to be an advocate for Luke and rush Miki over there to save him.

Anyway, great episode, thank you gents and ladies. Beautifully done Paul.

Or, Luke might actually be alive. Never know. Mark survived a bullet to the brain.

    Good morning all,

Page 5, the slow motion backwards explosion, Mr Duffield you are bleedin brilliant mate! The little line of Freakfire between the mending floorboards, the bricks, everything, i am most impressed. Looks like the Angels made time run backwards in just that one little localised bit of the universe. Clever, that. Makes me wonder what exactly they did in the big push that broke the world.

And Mark is still alive and no-one seems particularly concerned about it. Hmmm, i wonder what kind of state he's in.

Better than me perhaps, work is a grinder and i am the meat. I have some time off coming up at the end of next week, i may need to borrow the Angels to put me back together. I'll be in Southend on Monday, Mr Ellis...

I like how Sirkka seems to be the only one aware at the moment that Jack shot Luke in the head. Perhaps because the others were busy, and/or perhaps because they share a link that runs deeper than the others have. Remember how Sirkka could feel cigar smoke rolling around in his mouth way back in volume one. There's a connection there that runs far deeper than The Package.

This story gets better and better, and would make a fine movie as long as Hollywood didn't make it/fuck it up.

Heh. Back in the episode when Kaitlyn was defending her Abu Graib-style torture room, I downloaded an image of Dick Cheney and arranged her body with his head. The dialogue works just as if he were being interviewed on Meet The Press! I was going to put it up for you guys to see, but I'm not computer-savvy enough to know how to do it, and I didn't want to offend anybody.

I've a soft spot for Kojak fans. I'm sure Kait would have taken Mark down.

@buddharhubarbbutter: the psychic parts would be easy, as ruined London in Green Screen, but production values and economic factors (based on target demographics) might or might not ruin a Freakangels movie. How about a rap musical? Some exciting car chases? More love interests?
Then it would be a great opportunity for at least 12 shiny new faces to become known !
As it is, there's about 30 minutes of screen time so far, (not including flashbacks, which could actually form the bulk of the adaptation.)
But they would probably just fuck it up, make lots of money anyway, and laugh all the way to the bank.

@longtimelurker: -no one should steal art !
  8.  (8030.57)
Didn't know I was committing an act of theft by opening one picture on top of another on my computer desktop to amuse myself and wondering if anyone here would get a laugh, then prudently deciding not to share it.

Prudently decided not to say anything about it either, until now. Wish I hadn't.

    @longtimelurker
It's not, don't worry about it. I put all sorts of stupid shit on Freakangels pages to amuse myself.

actually stealing and profaning art is infact a form of art itself can't remember the actual name for the process though.
