    @Jon Wake mentioned "Pax Romana", but didn't quite make it explicit: If you like S.H.I.E.L.D, run now to your shop and pick up "Pax Romana." At one time Hickman said he'd be writing more in that series, but I'm assuming his work on S.H.I.E.L.D. is absorbing any follow-on ideas he had for PR.

    One additional note - I just went back and compared the pages Mr. Ellis posted to the first issue. The B&W is simply better.

    Re-read the first five issues last night, and with each issue I keep loving this book more and more. In some ways I view its relationship to the Marvel Universe the way I view Planetary's relationship to the Wildstorm Universe: sure it is there, but in many ways it seems like an alternate/What If?/Elseworlds take.

    And damn, the series already needs annotations and has me going to look up more about the characters.

    And the art is just gorgeous.
