Oh god. The trailer made it to YouTube, and people are taunting me with it. Let’s get this over with. I have, at best, a face for radio. Unfortunately, I don’t have a voice for radio. This is horrifying and I don’t want to look.

Oh, man, I love how they zoom in close to your face on several parts, probably knowing it would give you a seizure once you saw it.

Seriously, though, it looks very interesting and I know this is going to sound meaningless and possibly like a horrible lie to you, but your voice sounds fine.

Just showed it to my wife. all she said was "NEVER, EVER grow a beard like that!", Mind you it´s got a completely different tone to the trailer for the Grant Morrison Documentary.You look more like the grizzled writer /private eye, like Hazell or Michale Elphick´s Harry.

Since inquiring minds are asking, he drank 8 redbulls, 1 bottle of jack and 4 packs of cigs. We carried the whiskey bottle around London and into Glasgow as a trusty mascot. I wanted to keep all his used items in a box and then burn it in a funeral pyre towards his health. Customs thought that weird, so they denied my request. Oh well.

I had never thought what your voice could sound like (except when we read you we sort of hear a rythm which is precisely recorded beat by beat on this trailer. That's your flow, sir, and that's what we like to recognize when we read you)

I have a suspicion that, in Britain, you're accustomed to a more polished standard of radio voice than we are in America. (Also/alternately, it may just be hearing one's own voice, coming from somewhere other than one's own head; when I hear recordings of myself I always think they sound like some sort of tranquilized ape.)

Oh, and re: smoking, I would have to imagine that Warren has in fact noticed the giant "SMOKING KILLS" message which takes up an entire panel of cigarette packaging in the UK. I mean, if he hasn't, he's doing a remarkable job of concealing his near-blindness. (I still remember when I saw those warnings for the first time, in London; I immediately remembered Dennis Leary's "Drugs" routine and smiled.)

I'm looking forward to this as well. I was a fan of the William Gibson doc, NO MAPS FOR THESE TERRITORIES, and this looks somewhat similar. Minus the whole "Ellis being driven around in a car the entire time" element, of course.

how do you run a screening? ive only booked bands, and they obviously get paid to make it to the next town. do i pay you a 'license fee' type amount and then run it however we want, or do you have someone literally bring the movie out and collect door or what? im kinda interested in setting one of these up in phoenix at a diy theater.
