I think Andrew just took this thread by the proverbial balls and ran off with it. -
Someone mentioned Saul Bass and I couldn't get that out of my mind. My Mom used to sit around and watch her 'stories' while I refilled her glass with mommy's happy juice and on top of the TV there was this novelty vibrating rhino sculpture that Dad picked up in Mexico before he left. So one day when she was at the liquor store with Uncle Larry, well, ... the bum had it coming, he just made me snap.

This is all really fantastic stuff, and it's making my creativity itch. I have an idea for this, but it's still hazy in my head. Best I'd be able to do is whip up a pencil-sketch and scan it in, but that's better than nothing.

andrewdrilon: Lovely illustration, and funny as hell. It looks just like the Spider-Man: Rock Reflections of a Superhero concept album from the '70s with a painted John Romita cover featuring Peter Parker looking in the mirror and seeing Spider-Man...
