Not odd at all. I ran out (metaphorically) and picked up BLOOM, TROPE and AIR. I think I like TROPE's palette a little more than BLOOM. But they're all fascinating. -

probably my favorite album of the year in progress is Pinnacles of Right-on-ness which is like Disneyland for psych-jazz-funk nerds, though I guess it actually was recorded in 08. If it sounds like your thing, it is downloadable there. -
