Weeks been good. Enjoying the work, found out today that there's possibility of it becoming a permanent thing. Trying not to get my hopes up as it relies on a contract they have won the tender for yet, but still...
Life's been busy-good. The record's been getting some nice buzz, I'm currently mixing a mate's black metal album and oh hey, it's DRUNKEN FINLAND DAY. I expect tonight's soudtrack will be champagne bottles popping.
I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
Don't see what Jack did to deserve that. It was a neccessary evil... putting Luke out of his misery was a kindness. They've all seem to forgotten that it was Alice who actually mortally wounded Luke. Pff, breakdown of communication.
I guess this volume will end with Connor putting on his backpack and walking off into the sunset. And frankly, who can blame him?
0095: Drama ! Why slap Jack when there is so much more in FA to use? Was this for new girl to see? Connor is probably fed up with all of them, including Alice. -But going on a walkabout?
On the home front this morning, my new telescope (a 6" f/10 Dobson reflector) that I ground and polished the mirror and built the rest from scratch passed its star tests with high honors! The images are tack-sharp and with such detail that makes the simple pleasure of looking an adventure of discovery.
That look on Sirkka's face on the second to last panel is just heartbreaking. Butbutbut more importantly - what's up with Connor? If he really is leaving, it better be for a good reason - this is no time for gothsulks, boy!
All good here thanks, work has been a ballache but I saw the awesome CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX on Monday - their prog powers have sustained me throughout the week. Listen to them if you like music that makes you feel like you are travelling through time and space!
Yeah, I don't think Jack can be blamed for Luke's death. Alice did it in self defence. Hopefully it will all come out in the wash before Kait roughs him up too much.
Pre-ordered my signed HC of the next volume of FA from my LCS this week!
Can't blame Connor for wanting to leave. Seeing the bags on the bed made me sad for him. I want to know how they made it this long, too. Every one of them is dysfunctional in their own way, but they all have a communication problem. I guess that's pretty much like everyone I know.
The birds woke me up at the butt crack of 3:30, with their chirping. I feel like someone ran over me and drilled a hole in my head, ate my brains and then puked them back up again and taped my head back together again. Otherwise, it looks to be a promising day!
The boys and girls certainly do have a communication problem. It probably comes from being able to lift knowledge from other peoples' brains instead of having to negotiate for it.
WOW, looks like a major turning point is here. Warren's writing took a major turn towards a darker reality than we have seen so far. Paul, not sure what you guys did but this Episode took on a much fuller and physically more realistic tone and look to the artwork. Like something (like your and your teams talent) made a wonderful upgrade. Beautifully written and beautifully drawn. The chastisement by Alice was most dynamic.:
A WEEK AGO I THOUGHT YOU PEOPLE WERE FOOKING WIZARDS OR SUMMAT. TODAY I WONDER HOW YOU LIVED PAST THE AGE OF EIGHT.
Had the biopsy on Wednesday. No real damage to the lung but hurt pretty good and I am still sore. I await the results; should be sometime today when I hear.
yeah, ditto on the general consensus: sirkka's twisted-up emotional face really said it all (with some help from her standing defiantly in the middle of the road). Great job all around, as usual. As I'm fond of saying at my local mexican restaurant: "Siempre todo bien!"
