I've been really lazy with the photos recently but then I found this dress at the op shop...
@shining_lion I’ve realised since your lovely comment that every time I take pics of myself in a skirt/dress they invariably turn into a dance series, must be an undiscovered law of the universe :-D
@Astrocrat Hope your surgery went/goes well and that the surgeon isn't actually a dalek. That is a nice set of glasses you have there.
@Rachæl Tyrell How are you feeling a few weeks after your operation? A friend is thinking of having it done and was really inspired by your pics/explanation.
@Atomic Sloth A roaring fire sir!
@krakatoakatie So sorry to hear about that shitty thing happening to you, hope you’re doing OK.
@Willow B100 First you do the back-breaking labour for no monies, then you get the power, then you get the bitches… That’s how it works right?
@CinammonAndSpite In your white jacket/work gear you look like a scientist, one who is going to speak to me in a bored voice, roll her eyes and then give me an injection to stop me whining about being strapped to a gurney :-D
@Gekko Oh gawd! The amputee torso gave birth to a goblin baby! That is an astounding find.
@Dorkmuffin Congratulations, that is a fine victory pose right thurr :-)
@Ricochet - That dress is HOT. Makes me want to do some pics with the one I got at a consignment shop a while back. It would finally give me an excuse to wear it, at least.
Ricochet: The funny thing? As I saw your post, I was all about the "SQUEE! Another dance post, YES!" ...and then I saw your comment, and I thought that was the best physics thing EVER, even better than the Large Hadron Collider. ^_^
@ RIcochet - I'm feeling totally fine. The scar is a bit annoying, as it has made a staple sized indent-dimple half way between belly-button and hairline which makes the feminine curve of belly look... more like flab. If that makes sense. However... the more I read up on the birth control pill, the more it seems like a really horrible thing to do to oneself. If I weren't going for permanent sterilization, I think I'd have switched to an IUD. If anything, it's worth it not to be on "the pill" for reasons of finding and enjoying a sexual mate. There have been a number of studies that indicate that being on the birth control pill changes women's chemistry and alters who they find attractive. The first place I'd read about this issue is here, but there seem to be a whole host of sites that discuss the issue. It may have a great correlation to the raise in the divorce rate.
from twitter, around midnight: "Tonight's finest: drunk, buff party clown out of costume jumping into a pool from a balcony, then gifting me a balloon flower. True story."
When you cut your foot on a nail in the middle of the night, it's good to be staying with a friend who happens to be a nurse practioner. Getting stitches in her office at midnight is a new experience
