Any chance we might see a FreakAngels phonebook containing the first couple volumes in one? Sim did them very well. Smith did one gigantic one for Bone.

Hm, personally I think that would be kinda cool, it could have collected covers included, and a unique cover of its own. However, I know the business model for Freakangels needs to be carefully thought out since Avatar are giving it away for free, so I'd guess the chances are it won't happen (at least any time soon), but fingers crossed.

Maybe wait until there's like 10 volumes or so and do a ginormous thing of that in ltd. edition format, like the gravel tome?
And add special mcspecialstuff. Like sketches and maybe an interview or two on it or something? Iunno. There's a lot of stuff you could do. Hrm. Maybe a punch-out-type make-your-own-bikecopter would be fun (they're only annoying if people lob them at *you*).

Do it in black and white on newsprint and sell it off cheaper to get people caught up in one big chunk. I think it would fit well with the "manga" look the strip has, and who doesn't love a big, cheap chunk of comics to take with them on trips, or whatever... But don't ask me; I read it online...

Not sure how well it'd hold up in b&w; and it was meant to be seen in color. Might loose something without it.

A sanctioned POD version in phonebook/"Wednesday Comics" format would be fantastic. There's an Espresso a very short subway ride away from me that I've been dying to try out. I have no idea what the realistic profits are on such a venture, but it *seems* intuitive that a premium traditionally printed version paired with a cheap, plainly laid out POD version would be a winner. Having the POD option available would actually make me more likely to buy the premium copy, as it can stay safely on the shelf while I kick the POD version around on the train or in the bath or whatnot, and if it was priced correctly I'd be likely to buy multiple copies of the POD version as it wore out.
