    Anytime anyone on BC refers to Bendis as "Brian Michael Bendis" I think it makes him sound like a serial killer... or overtly uppity.... or like they're trying to be an upset parent or something. But mostly: Serial Killer.

    Isn't he a serial killer? Or is it just method acting he does to do those scripts?

    I think that's partly why people just call him BMB or just Bendis.

    Though I remember when Avengers Disassembled came out there were quite a few fans putting him to the level of a serial killer with killing off Hawkeye.

    I was in Brian's comics writing class at Portland State University this spring.

    I always wanted to ask, "So when you sign your emails 'BENDIS!' how are we supposed to pronounce that?" I always felt like it had to involve Jazz Hands.

    Someone asked him about that at the wordballoon thing at SDCC.

    He sort of sheepishly admitted that it was a douchey move that seemed like a good idea when he was much younger.
