Wow, so many new webcomics to read! A lot of these I've never heard of before, which makes me think I'm not paying attention to the right ads or forums.
My comic is Rusty & Co., a chronicle of the adventures of some classic D&D monsters as they decide to become heroes, just like humans and elves and all those other "pretty races." The newest story arc just started, so now's a great time to start reading:
I write and draw Clockworks, a steampunk/fantasy story. It updates every Tuesday and Thursday. This is a comic from a few weeks ago that I think gives a decent preview of the art and characters, without all that pesky dialogin the way.
Hey there! I'm the author and artist of Sakana No Sadness, which is fairly new (premiered in February and updates weekly on Mondays) It's a humor/sci-fi graphic novel about a basement-dwelling shut-in who attempts to build a robot girlfriend (you know, to avoid having to find a real one) and gets more than he bargained for. Please feel free to check it out! Visit SakanaComic.com for more!
Familiar Ground is an epic fantasy comedy that follows the antics of three animal companions as they accompany their humans on a quest. It's a mix between a gag-a-day and story based comic, currently updating five days a week.
My name is Kory Bing and I make Skin Deep, a long-form urban fantasy about mythical creatures living secretly under the noses of humanity. It updates every week!
Christopher Hunt, comic book creator, latter day renaissance man. I don't do webcomics that update weekly, I just complete stories and put them on the web. I found that I don't like the one page at a time method, mainly because I personally prefer to read large chunks of story at a time.
and then Death In The Afternoon which is about a hunter tracking a man eating lion. The hunter character has kind of established himself as my own Corto Maltese, I plan on doing more with him in the future.
There's other, albeit shittier stories on there, but...well read at your own risk.
Mine's called C-Section Comics. It's basically a "gag-a-day" (or rather, "couple-of-gags-a-week") webcomic. Here's a sample, after "The Giving Tree", originally published here.
I am the creator of Bear VS. Zombies it is a weekly action/adventure/humor comic. A little bit like The Walking Dead from the animals perspective. With more pop culture references. :)
I'm got webcomic called Subterfuge. Starts out as a murder mystery, turns into the journey of a man caught up in circumstances larger than himself...er something;) I've never been good at brief descriptions.
I write a weekly updated webcomic with artist Andrew Sides called BORDER CROSSINGS. There are currently over 50 pages of story online.
BORDER CROSSINGS is a dark marine fantasy where a salvage submarine’s strange crew must redefine freedom for their drowned world. Here are two page examples:
If you prefer comparisons it’s Firefly,Labyrinth and Perdido Street Station in a nautical steampunk mash-up. The story is also an allegory for the modern era of globalization.
Venetia Toco falls through a portal to another world in a surfing accident. The place she ends up in is mostly oceanic, with only one remaining island. Strong economic disparity exists between the intelligent marine races and the remaining “air-breathers.” These different ethnicities have one thing in common: they all fetishize artifacts from Earth. Why? Because anything from Earth (bullets, chunks of wood, even human beings) can invoke special powers from ancient symbols called graphemes. Before the undead border patrol can capture her, a cuttlefish-shaped salvage submarine named The Rhizome retrieves Venetia. She joins the ship’s crew of odd displaced beings, led by the provocative radical Captain M.P. Skulker.
Hello, I'm Tiffany and I create Between Places. Between Places updates Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday with full color, digitally painted art. It starts out as a typical fantasy adventure... kill the elves, save the girl, save the universe... and quickly unfolds into a reality-questioning epic of dreamworlds and very, very real nightmares.
A little bit dark, with a sprinkle of horror and a dab of science fiction, Between Places asks one question: what if your dreams could become reality? (It wouldn't be a dark comic if the answer was "cure cancer, have a million dollars, date THAT girl, and publish your novel", incidentially.)
I'm julie, I make a fantasy/humor strip called Sparkling Hostage Estate. There's three princesses :fairy tale, gothic, and tribal style. (named Robin, Dorothy, and Tiara, respectively) They are trapped in an evil castle by a spell that lived on long after their kidnapper died. Az the wizard wants to free them, but is hampered by his insane lizard-men manservants.
