With a name like Cancer Kids, Joe is off to a good start! I actually downloaded that Dangers album last week and it is a VERY good hardcore album.
@Warren - How is the Konono album sounding? Was listening to some tracks from their Congotronics album over the weekend. That electric thumb piano sound is just lovely!
Mike Patton's Mondo Cane, which is a collection of his covers of Italian pop songs from the 50's and 60's. I'd describe it as lush, romantic and dramatic. My friend just thought it sounded a bit cheesy. But I like it.
Right now, Erling Wold's missa beati notkeri balbuli sancti galli monachi, a beautiful composition of modern chorale music.
The other night...

Ive been all over SoundCloud again, this time for a month straight. If you hang out at my joint then you knew that already. The mixes at SoundCloud are limitless even if the genres are not...but godamn there's brilliance in there! Who just said Caribou? The Hood Internet - Sun Chewed Up (Slug & Murs x Caribou) by hoodinternet
Trouble Gang just dropped thier mixtape (vol 1) last Monday. Its a good fucking awesome download.
Witty, sometimes laugh-out-loud funny, excellent jazz / soul-inflected beats, and absolutely nobody's making any money as far as I can make out. I LOVE it.
