Gorillaz' new album, "Plastic Beach". My wife got it for me for my birthday. The first single, "Stylo", has one of the best bassbeats I've heard lately. I fully expect to hear it sampled all over the place in the next couple of years.

Basically 90's emo and screamo, mostly on 8tracks, and some Spanish hip hop. Trying to remain awake while I study for an exam I have tomorrow.

Roommate just introduced me to Janelle Monae, who was apparently on Letterman last night.

Holy hell, I must find more by this woman.

I've been renewing my long-term relationship with Task Force's Chester P and Farma G, and I missed this when it was released last year:

    Farma G - Death of L.O.L

also enjoying this version of Lily Allen's 'Smile' also by Farma G.
