    which leads me to whole new questions: connor couldn't have gone THAT far that arkady couldn't catch up to him, right? or did she already talk to him and he's gone anyhow? i mean it SEEMS like she's looking at an empty room in mild surprise/disbelief/regret, but ...

    usually, i dread fridays, as it tends to mean lots of deadlines that usually aren't met. but now, with the advent of Freakangel Friday, i simultaneously can't wait and dread the Friday.

    Thanks Uncle Warren for reducing me to a twitching, schizoid, useless load.

    Hehe. Slowly read through the comments with considerable amusement. Keeps alive my theory that we love a good grotesquerie.

    Am frustrated that seemingly nothing will put down a rapist fuck like Luke, let alone cause him to reconsider the actions taken in his life - not a shotgun, several bullets, a hole in his head or the disembodied voice of the universe calling him a wanker. And yet... and yet... giggling madly from the "for being sexy, I might add" point on. Sheesh.

    Last week is ancient news. Trying to do something useful with this week, for a change. No great plans but there are articles that could stand to be written & published.

    I was in a coffee shop and started laughing so hard everyone stopped and looked up at me. Couldn't help it. Just read it for a second time.

    Recall that Freakangels can veil themselves from each others' detection. Kait does it routinely. Mark and Luke have done it as well. If Conner simply wanted to leave without interference, it seems likely that he'd also veil himself.

    Though, in personal experience, usually when people say that they actually do. At least, when they're people like Connor.

    Yes, but Karl has just learned a new trick while he was pushing the weather, so veiled or not it's fairly likely he could probably find Conner now without too much trouble.

    ( unrelated, but wondering - they have Mark, but what about all the people Mark had programmed? Where are they all? Methinks the shit is about to hit the fan in royal fashion... )

    y'know, i just keep coming back to episode 11. i'm guessing that - level-up or no - luke STILL isn't a match for arkady, and if it happens to kick off in the clinic with KK, we might need her to jump in and blank out his mind with "five minutes" ...

    speaking of ep. 11, it is REALLY weird to hear stuff like "beaten up for being sexy" when there he is in ep. 11 saying "i need this i deserve this why didn't i do this earlier" etc. ...

    so excited. and hey! tomorrow we get to see what happens next ...

I can't wait for the total flip out coming when they start screaming at luke for being alive and start trying new inventive ways to kill him :). like disassembing his molecules with the package, or crushing him completely flat, or giving up and simply scattering his body parts all over the place just to screw with him. huh, wonder how well he'd be able to focus and use the package to cause mayhem with his head buried 50 ft below the ground with the rest of his body all over

    why do you think they'll try to kill him again? :} arkady came back, and so did luke. i think luke's too much of an important character to get so easily discarded. what have we seen of him? his ill attitude? he keeps talking he's got better understanding of his powers than the rest of them. we haven't seen much proof of it, have we? he may just be talking shit about being better, but he returned from the other side (or got returned, dunno). maybe there is a reason for that.

    i love them stories which have an asshole who's supposed to be one of the good guys. xD it makes the story much more lifelike. :}

    true, they'll probably be shocked and try to figure out what really happened and how he is still alive and what immortality means for them. Wonder when we'll see what Luke can actually do though, i want to see if he's just bragging or if he really is pretty strong. also, luke saw a light, and arkady saw the light and the people, does mark have a similar experience he just hasn't shared? also, arkady didn't mention anything like that about her od, so did she really die back then or what? hope to get some of these answers soon.
