Dear Santa Ellis, Can page 2 be the cover for volume 5? Paul did an amazing job on that beauty! Love always, diello PS: I didn't take Ariana's Red Bull.
I somehow get the impression that if a Freakangel were to have their body utterly destroyed, they'd make themselves available by whatever electromagnetic means were available. The idea of Luke snotting off to the rest of the group via the speakers of a radio somehow holds great appeal - though I've no doubt he'd cast about until he found a proper body to shack up in.
And no doubt, he'd not want to settle for less than another Freakangel, which I don't see going over all that well.
@longtimelurker - Alice at the least knew that Mark was still alive. What I'm really looking forward to reaction-wise is how she handles meeting Luke again!
Graizur, I'm afraid you're mistaken. If the Angels are actually superior to ordinary humans as Luke believes, it's impossible for us to consent to sex with them to begin with, and either way mind controlling doesn't exactly help his case as that in itself is essentially rape: Physically dominating a person, superimposing his free will, dignity, personal integrity and ditto space on hers, for his own pleasure. The intercourse in itself means little, it's just the ultimate expression of his dominance over the woman. Unless you can prove she wanted to be brainwashed, and of her own choice and not as a desperate measure to escape her misery, I'm going to call it rape.
Not that I approve of the erasing of her memories without asking either. Though what with the psychic abilities it might just be possible Sirkka knows for a fact she wants to forget.

Warren, you are a madman and I love every bit of it. Paul, I think I mentioned last week that you were grossing me out, and continuing doing so is just brilliant. It's stuff like this, these crazy concepts and worlds just coming together to form such a bigger picture than anyone could have imagined just a week prior that inspires the writer in me.
If the FA are containers for the package, I'd be willing to bet you could zap them into dust and they'd still pull themselves together somehow. If these future-selves are electromagnetic entities, I suppose you might stop them the same way you'd stop an electromagnetic field. Bugger if I know how to do that or how a person in a post-apocalyptic world would do that. But as they seem to be intrinsically tied to Earth's EMF, pulling the plug on one might mean killing them all off, which might mean it would do enough damage to destroy what is left of the world. So, unless one of the FA decides he or she wants to end it all and pulls the plug on themselves, I believe this whole 'how do you kill 'em?' question turns to something more important.
Maybe this means they all have to grow up and learn to play nice together for the sake of everyone?
It is somehow comforting, regardless of what is going to happen, that KK still thinks Luke is a tit.
"Maybe this means they all have to grow up and learn to play nice together for the sake of everyone? "
oh, yeah, i definitely see Kirk and Luke holding hands and dancing in the flowerfields. i would've said that they could split, cause the world is huge, after all, but there's this problem - Caz, Miki, KK and Karl are the ones that actually sustain the Whitechapel community. i don't know if the rest can manage living somewhere without them.
This weekend I'll be starting to pack. Going to Las Vegas for 3 weeks on Tuesday. So this might be the last episode I read this month. Or ever, depending on how the trip goes.
More talking Luke is a really nice way to end the double digits.
Yeah this entire sequence with Luke has really showcased the strengths of Warren and Paul. Just incredibly entertaining stuff. Luke pausing to consider Miki's insult on the first page, and then launching right back into his speech, I mean that's gold. I couldn't be more excited to see where this is all going and what it means for the future of the FreakAngels.
