Not to be a curmudgeon, but I hope this doesn't make future, new issues of Casanova more than $1.99. Probably the most important thing to the purchase of issues of this book for me was its price, so I'll likely trade wait if it's a $2.99 (or worse yet $3.99) book in the future.

    The colors look beautiful though!

That's one that I'll happily rebuy in singles form (and probably once a hardcover comes out as well)...

I'm one those poor souls who never had a chance to read v2 of the originals as well...so at least I'll catch up on that sooner rather than later.

Just buy it people so we'll be able to see v3 and beyond!

@manglr - I will possibly buy these issues, since they're gorgeous, I just miss the Fell format.

the 3.99 issues have two of the 1.99 issues (or an extra story) in them so it works to be the same investment.

now for the new series, im not sure how those are gonna be pricing out yet. i can guarantee they WONT be 1.99 though since they are full size instead of 16p slimline

I just miss the Fell format.

me too...best new idea in a while to shake some comics up.

I missed this the first go around and already added it to my pull list. Can't wait to see what all the praise is about!

Worth total commitment and devotion. At any and every price point. My #565 doppelganger just assured me at gunpoint, and I trust him.

    They never stopped, over there.

I worship at the alter of CASANOVA, so I'm excited.

And Fraction says that numbers are good, which is a big relief.

"sitting here looking at the printer's proof for CASANOVA #1. finally, finally, finally. the numbers were good, by the way #casanova" -@mattfraction

This is a very good thing for creator owned comics.

I missed it the first time. That's not happening twice.

Got all 14 issues in the duotone version and the hardcover of Luxuria and I will be happily buying the newly coloured issues.

I thought issue #1 was coming out in June, so I was all kinds of worried that I hadn't heard anything about it yet.

And what did Matt mean by "the numbers were good"? Pre-order numbers on the new release, or orders on the original #1? The most recent episode of the TV show Numbers?
