I create a twice-weekly updated webcomic called GO HOME PADDY

GO HOME PADDY is the story of a Famine Era Irish immigrant arriving on American shores (Boston) and finding the same miseries that he had left behind on the other side of the Atlantic: bigotry, poverty and hatred. The tales deals with race, religion, assimilation, immigration and incorporates historical details such as the Great Hunger, the rise of the Know-Nothings, Victorian prejudices and the Great Boston Fire of 1872.

Mine's called PITCH BLACK and it's now posted daily because I seem to be on a mission to drive myself insane. So far, there's 81 strips of varying lengths (the 50th has 67 panels -- driving myself insane, as I said). I've recently created two recurring characters, Rock Hardick and Captain Hempbeard, in addition to the space crew and the Ambassador Of Awesome.

Hello. Regular lurker here, very very very occasional poster. Mainly in these "plug your comic" posts. Shameless shill? Possibly.

I do a comic that is basically like a traditional paper monthly comic book in most respects, with the main glaring difference being that I do it online. I sell paper ones at cons for beer money as well, but it's primarily a webcomic.

It's called Particle Fiction, and every issue is a complete 16 page story. It's mainly SF, but I'm also a big fan of crime and, yes, super-hero comics, so those inevitably creep in there as well.

It's kind of iphone friendly, too- you have to download the pdf (which is free, obviously), but once you've got it on there, it reads just fine without any zooming or what have you. Check it out.

Death Boy

Words by me. Art by Dan Butcher. Death Boy is about a British teenager who, upon failing his exams, decides to become a supervillain. We've uploaded seven chapters so far, with two more written. Me and Dan try to keep to one new chapter a week. It has a loose serialised format. The goal when writing it was to be a hybrid of Dilbert and the 1960s Marvel comics, but with a slight modern edge and a British character as the leader.

I generally enjoy sites at the lurking level, but when so blatantly invited to share my work, HOW COULD I RESIST? The answer is 'pretty easily' I guess but then I would be a bad self promoter. Account registered!

I do a gag strip at http://www.firmanproductions.com (called Moe) about a bald guy (also called Moe) who is a bumbling sort of buffoon with few victories in life. Example strip!

And one of my most popular strips was an extended epic about the potential dangers of clumsy domestic regard.

Many thanks for letting us post to your site. We're about 2 months out of the gate and our book is a cross between Blade Runner and An Inconvenient Truth. It's called Blueshift

We have a bunch of fake ads on our site with a corresponding travel website from the future. Since our story setting is about catastrophic runaway climate change the travel site sells your tips to ravaged places but puts a humorous spin on it. One is to Comic-Con in 2060--the decade of our story.

Hi, Stephen Nocentelli here, creator of Real-Super. As most of you might not know, Real-Super turned one year old a few weeks ago and there has never been a better time to start reading.

Real-Super is a comedy featuring super heroes as they go about their every day lives. Thunderbolt works for the Titan Up Corporation, which hires and manages super people and deploys them around the city as needed, for an hourly wage. Along with his roommate, The Hooded Man, and best friends, Fireman and The Pantaloon, Thunderbolt works to save the day from the dark lord Rob, but would rather stay home and goof off.

Updated on Mondays and Fridays, Real-Super is a comic comprised of both single gag strips and short story arcs.

CARNIVORE CARNIVAL is a series of short comics created by me. The only connecting theme is that they're all in color (and I try to keep the level of blood and sexual innuendo low enough for a Teen+ rating, so no swearing either!).

There's no genre limit, it could be sci-fi or fantasy or horror or even a real life story. Some are funny, some are not.

My Name's Paul Cleland Smith and I've been working on a little comic called Real Cane Sugar since January 2009.. I bill it as a stoner muppet slice of life comedy that takes place in the south. I try to at least get a page out once a week but it's really hard. It's a whole story so it's best to start from the first page.

I do all the art and the writing and maintain my lil site, it's rough but people have been very encouraging thus far, so I'm going to keep trying to get better.

My webcomic, Frontier: 2170, is a sci-fi space noir story in the vein of Firefly or Cowboy Bebop, chronicling the misadventures of an independent spaceship crew and their struggle to survive in the middle of a shooting war between the two major powers in the solar system, the Mars Colonial Union and the North America Government and Administration.

My name is Dante Shepherd and I write/photograph a daily photocomic called Surviving the World. It breaks the fourth wall and is set in a university classroom. The comic focuses on everything, from education to politics, from sports to science, from love to religion. Once a week I take a reader question, as if someone in the class is raising their hand. Every now and then, my dog, German, steps in and does a lesson as the teaching assistant.

It's been running for just over two years now, so there's a pretty big archive, but it's easy to jump around and enjoy them at your leisure. Thanks!

See, Mark Millar introduced the notion that we could get published in his new venture, CLiNT Magazine, and so I've got a few of those submissions posted on my own site. Now, Millar hasn't actually USED any of them, but they're still pretty good. One of them is even (allegedly) getting turned into a beer. You'll see.

I am going against the grain a little, judging from the previous posts in this stream.
My comics are single panel gag style, which I update weekly (sometimes twice weekly)

Agent-X Comics is pretty much my place to make fun of online culture, internet memes, programmers, super heroes, social media and popular culture icons.
Oh, and I make fun of kittens too.

As well, I have also started giving out weekly recommendations of webcomics to check out, so this stream will give me a lot of new fodder to churn through the machine.

I started doing this web at the start of June. Its a remake of a really old web comic I use to run when I was in my teens. I tried a few times to start off from where I left off but couldn't really get back into it :/

It takes place about a thousand years after the Second Coming of Christ, and the Space Vampire Azzi, Captain Sera Besh, and a host of aliens, cybergremlins and mythological creatures are trying to gain an audience with God before He and His Chosen leave heaven on earth for heaven proper, leaving the universe to collapse behind them.

It's rated Web 14, for occasional partial nudity and scenes of intense violence. Some might call that NSFW.

Hi again everyone. I love it when this thread rolls around each time. Not just because I get to promote my own comic; ANGRY FAERIE , but because I get to see some cool new stuff that I haven't seen before.

So, Angry Faerie updates Monday/Wednesday/Friday and is the story of a perpetually pissed off faerie and the other mythological creatures who have to deal with her as best they can. The current storyline has involved an invasion by a horde of Draugr. After the resident Elven prince fails to stop the marauders (and fails miserably), Angry Faerie stepped up:

Oooh, another webcomics thread! My turn!

I'm the writer/artist of Conny Van Ehlsing, Monster Hunter, a series of short stories about a girl who grows up to be the greatest monster hunter in history... if she can make it past elementary school.

I've just picked up the current storyline, Another World, after a short hiatus, and just to shake things up, I've created a mirror mini-site called Conny Van Ehlsing, DRAGON SLAYER to provide an alternate perspective. It's the same comic, though.

HEY APATHY! Is an ongoing artistic investigation into the metropolis, monsters, people and the mechanics of being. In order to best understand the phenomena in question I spent over 5 years drawing pictures and talking to strangers as a full time street artist. The entire comic story follows my true life experiences while working as a public performer with parabolic misinterpretations of life in the big city!

MONSTER COMICS is the latest chapter of the extended narration following my adventures as a freelance illustrator for a guy named Weird Blackbeard. Blackbeard hired me to do a series of portraits involving some unusual characters he’d met. The assignment nearly cost me limbs, life and possession but in the end it was worth it because of all the cool drawings…

The entire project reads like a subliminal narrative quest to identify the true nature of urban atrocities. The comics incorporate street art, illustrated stories, video performances and some animations. WELCOME TO THE CITY OF GEARS!!!

Hello,

I have a comic called stupidchicken. It's about a chicken who yells at things and enjoys eating chicken, and some of the strange people who hang out with him. There are clones and robots, to please the clone and robot crowd. It's been described on its Facebook page both as "hilarious" and "this is the least funny thing I've ever read". (For some reason, a large proportion of the comic's Facebook fans are teenagers from the UK.)

I haven't updated it for a couple of months, but I'm working on a major update and a colour version sometime in August (the five-year anniversary of the comic).

I write a weekly updated webcomic with artist Andrew Sides called BORDER CROSSINGS. There are currently over 50 pages of story online. We begin our third issue next week!

BORDER CROSSINGS is a dark marine fantasy where a salvage submarine’s strange crew must redefine freedom for their drowned world. Here are two page examples:

If you prefer comparisons it’s Firefly, Labyrinth and Perdido Street Station in a nautical steampunk mash-up. The story is also an allegory for the modern era of globalization.

Venetia Toco falls through a portal to another world in a surfing accident. The place she ends up in is mostly oceanic, with only one remaining island. Strong economic disparity exists between the intelligent marine races and the remaining “air-breathers.” These different ethnicities have one thing in common: they all fetishize artifacts from Earth. Why? Because anything from Earth (bullets, chunks of wood, even human beings) can invoke special powers from ancient symbols called graphemes. Before the undead border patrol can capture her, a cuttlefish-shaped salvage submarine named The Rhizome retrieves Venetia. She joins the ship’s crew of odd displaced beings, led by the provocative radical Captain M.P. Skulker.

Kuzimu is a thought experiment of sorts.
It's in standard comic format (26 pages per issue including covers, 28 in print etc.)

Aquarium Drinking is the serialised online graphic novel that tells the story of a group of friends and how they came to question everything that they thought they knew about life and love during the Summer of 2009.

Like life it is humorous at times and depressing at others, sometimes it's humorous then quickly becomes depressing and vice versa, still other times it is a little of both at once, the one thing it always is all the time is on time. (I've never missed a post yet).

I am primarily a writer whose first attempt at drawing is page one of Aquarium Drinking so the art starts off a little rough and is improving with every page. (Although sometimes I drink while I ink and my abilities regress to the level of a myopic third grader.)

When all is said and done the story will approx 150- 175 pages long, so far I have up to page 35 posted.

Let me know if you like it, I don't do it for money, I do it for the unqualified praise of complete strangers. If you don't like it, don't say anything, I'm ready to fall to pieces at the drop of a hat as it is.
