La Machine has constructed something amazing and strikingly similar to Karl's garden, only with mecha spider legs enabling it to walk around.

Why do they call it a tripod when it clearly has four legs? (Okay maybe not clearly, one is hiding behind the extension ladder.) Also, what is the purpose of the balloons?

    Past that, cool as hell.

I think you have answered your own question. I can't imagine they're functional

They mentioned it being a flying garden.

Well that's my question: why fly if it has giant legs? Why giant legs if it flies? Also, I just noticed the helicopter-like propellers spinning away. Props and balloons?

Psh. Creative people and their compulsion to disregard logic and occasionally reality.

I was thinking that the props and balloons were to help keep the whole thing from toppling over. It doesn't look like it would actually fly. Hover a bit off the ground perhaps, put I just don't see that thing getting clearance from the tower anytime soon. Then again La Machine built a crazy fucking giant robot spider that they rode around town for four days so I wouldn't put anything past them really.

I don't see proper running lights, either. You're probably right.

J'adore La Machine. Who needs practicality or functionality when something that ridiculously cool is an option?

This is exactly what Vertical Farming has been missing.

I want about twelve of these.
